I remember a reportage artist telling of a murder trial gig. His first few drawings depicted the defendant as a handsome guy. As the facts of the case came to light, he began to view the accused as a monster and his drawings got uglier and uglier.
I like and respect Ms. Lebowitz, so there ya go.
