Chavez is officially “elected” but what does it mean? After the assembly passed an “Enabling Law” in November 2000, Chavez approved 49 laws by decree. The opposition had so little faith in the system that they boycotted the elections and have no representation in the National Assembly. 100 percent of the Assembly now supports Cavez which recently passed another law allowing him to approve laws by decree. So officially it’s a democracy that empowered him to act as a dictator.

Can’t be sure if Obama ever saw my blog, (propbably not) but his campaign did and asked me to do this drawing. If they did blog it would have off the chart traffic…they could sell add space to offset the national debt.

Most Chavez reports coming out of the U.S. are really biased. While I don’t think he’s an angel, can we say that about anyone in power, he’s a different kind of leader.
