Even though I do remember this tragic story from history, I felt the same VEe.
WW II has been called the last good war. I suppose that it was just, but good? Even a just war produces horrific events – Mr. Brown’s story is a testament to that, but it can also serves to remind us that young men and women are presently making great sacrifices. I too hope they are getting the support they need and deserve.
US troops entered Afghanistan on Oct. 7, 2001. coming up on ten years, It is officially America’s longest war.

Never heard about the Bataan Death March. I definitely learn something new every day, I just hope whatever I learn is worthwhile.

I hope the current veterans are getting the support they need and deserve. 9+ years in Afghanistan and 8+ years in Iraq. ???

This drawing made me pause and think about the wars.
