         A skeleton draped
         in a wool coat
         the sweet gum tree groans
         with the weight
         of the white
         March snow
         clumped on her limbs;

         an involuntary muscle pops 
         off wads of white
         silent explosions.

         The sweet gum tree
         rises glamourous
         from her death.
