Its been a year since I last took a sabbatical from Drawing On Observations to visit London and Paris. This year we have something special planned. I'll tell you about it when I return. In the mean time, I'm reposting some of my favorite portraits doodled over the past year

NBC gambled that they could save money, cut it's costly 10 pm drama lineup, shift all the late night talk up an hour and continue to hold market share. I'm a big fan of Conan, but NBC lost the bet and you can look for things to go back to the way we were.

Saturday Night Live alumni Jimmy Fallon will replace fellow SNL alumni Conan O'Brien on Late Night when Conan moves over to Tonight and Leno is forced out. I guess NBC executive Lorne Michaels thinks the formerly not ready for prime timers are ready, but I'm not sure even Fallon agrees. At the Press conference Fallon said to Michaels "You started my career, you might as well end it."
