Obama's new Chief of Staff did his undergraduate work at Colby College, received a master's degree from the London School of Economics and a Masters in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School. He has worked on Capitol Hill for nearly 40 years where he came to be known as the 101st Senator. His soft spoken manor represents a stark contrast from his predecessor Rahm Emanuel.
