But, I have to admit that I feel more comfortable in scribbling a guys face with haphazard lines dotted with word blemishes than I do a woman. I’m wearing my chauvinism on my sleeve, but in this doodle style, it’s hard to make anyone look good. Am I putting women on a pedestal? Treating them like they’re an exotic creatures from Pandora? (good one VEe!) mea culpa, mea culpa. I’ll try harder.

There’s definitely a sense of otherness. It’s great that you recognized what you were not doing. It took me a long while to realize that I did not draw women, which I find odd now. Drawing women with different body shapes was another breakthrough I had to overcome. Cool post!
