Even if there was, most have become more sensitive to the Native Americans who hold the Black Hill sacred and consider Mount Rushmore to be a desecration. Many Americans however, still get a patriotic vibe from viewing the larger than life past presidents, so for the politician, being pictured here is like wearing a lapel pin on steroids....Meanwhile, Bill has been crisscrossing the reservations trying to sure up support among Native Americans.
