Ball point pen on the morning newsprint
Born Eunice Mary Kennedy in 1921 to Joseph and Rose Kennedy. She earned a bachelors degree in sociology from Stanford, married Sargent Shriver, raised five children, including Maria Shriver (the first lady of California) founded the Special Olympics, and devoted her life to improving the lives of those with intellectual disabilities. She was 88.

Of all the Kennedys, I always liked her the best. She did so much for a special population of folks. She lived a good life.
You captured her, spot-on. Brilliant minimilist technique. What is your secret here?
Thanks Robert. The more I do these portrait doodles, the more I learn that a likeness is much more about proportion than detail. I find a well placed scribble is infinitely more useful than a beautifully rendered feature placed in the wrong place.
Have you seen the portrait of her in the National Portrait Gallery? She was definitely worthy of portraiture. I agree with Robert, you definitely captured the Kennedy look here. It's true that proportions are key.
