Character actor Roberts Blossom was always memorable as the on-screen curmudgeonly coot. Blossom appeared in The Great Gatsby, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Escape from Alcatraz, but was perhaps best known for playing Marley, Kevin McCallister's reclusive, snow-shoveling neighbor in Home Alone. He was 87.
