Ball point pen on todays newsprint
U.S. goalkeeper Tim Howard, recovering from a rib injury caused by a spikes-to-chest collision with England's Emile Heskey, has been cleared to continue World Cup play when the U.S. takes on Slovenia this Friday.
Check out my good friend Stephen Gardner's World Cup coverage on his brilliant Sketch of the Day blog.

Nice one Larry, I'm glad you are watching. Friday can't come quick enough.
This Friday: 10.00 am - U.S. vs Slovenia. 2:30 pm - England vs. Algeria. I'll have it on in the background in my studio. My mouth is watering thinking about the Sam Adams and Burger.
I love it, but I hate the darn horns in the background. How do they stand those things in person!? I love this sketch.
Having played some competitive sports I can tell you that the players on the field are too focused to notice those knuckleheads. It's the poor fan sitting next to those noisemakers that are most disturbed.
